When Is My First Repayment?
In most cases, your first repayment is due one month after your home loan is advanced. However, you can check the actual date:
- In the settlement letter mailed out by your lender;
- In internet banking or;
- By calling your lender (we can do this for you!).
If the lender has set up a new bank account for you, then the repayments will come from that account unless you specified a different account.
Make sure that you put money into that account now and give your new bank account details to your employer so that you are ready for your first repayment.
How Do I Set Up Internet Banking?
Generally, the guidance to activate your online banking will be included in your welcome letter, which is scheduled to arrive within two weeks of your settlement.
However, if you do not receive the necessary information as expected, or if you have an urgent need to get your internet banking up and running, reach out to the lender. You can easily find their contact details on their website.
Unfortunately, we might not be able to assist you with this directly due to privacy reasons. However, if you do encounter any issues with your lender, please inform us. We can escalate the matter to our Business Development Manager for resolution. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we’re here to help.
