Hank has been in the mortgage industry since 2002, starting out working as a mortgage broker during his final year of university. In recent years Hank has worked with RESI Home Loans, a leading non-bank lender, as a Credit Manager and as a relationships adviser for the broker network.
The advantage Hank has over his peers is his strong relationship and in-depth knowledge of the two mortgage insurers (Genworth Financial & QBE) as a result of his time at RESI Home Loans. For this reason Hank is especially skilled at helping people who need to borrow over 80% of the property value. When it comes to the mortgage insurers, he can see if a loan will be approved and if required, lodge it with a lender who will bypass them.
Hank specialises in assisting with the harder and more confusing home loans, in particular anything to do with Family or Investment Trusts, Self Managed Super Funds (SMSF) and applicants who are still on VISAs.
His knowledge and expertise in these fields sets him apart from your average broker as he is there to get your loan across the line rather then sell you down the street.
