Nature of Promotion

• This is a game of chance. Skill plays no part in determining the winner.
• The winners are determined by a random draw.
• Entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.

Eligibility & Verification

• At the time of the draw, the winner must be a current follower of https://www.instagram.com/homeloanexperts_au and have completed the tagging requirement.
• To claim the prize, the winner must provide proof of an active home loan with an Australian lender. For privacy, winners are encouraged to redact (black out) sensitive information such as account numbers and balances; only the lender name and account holder name must be visible for verification.
• Where a winner does not hold an active home loan at the time of the draw, they may claim the prize by providing evidence of an unconditional approval or completed settlement on their first home loan within six (6) months of the draw date. Acceptable evidence includes a letter of unconditional approval, a settlement confirmation, or equivalent documentation from an Australian lender. If the winner fails to provide such evidence within the six-month period, the prize will be forfeited, and no substitute will be offered.
• The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who fails to provide the requested proof of identity or mortgage activity.
• Multiple individuals from the same household may each submit an entry. However, prior to the draw, the Promoter will review all entries and consolidate any entries that nominate the same home loan account into a single entry. Where multiple entrants are associated with the same mortgage, the first valid entry received (by timestamp of the DM) will be retained, and subsequent entries linked to that mortgage will be removed from the draw. Each unique mortgage account may be represented by one entry only across all prize tiers.
• Where an entrant is a couple, they will be considered as one eligible entry for this Promotion.
• One (1) entry per person. Entrants who submit a screenshot of a Silver Egg are eligible for the Stage 1 draw. Entrants who submit a screenshot of the designated Golden Egg are eligible for the Stage 2 draw. If the entrant is already a winner in Stage 1, the entry will be excluded from the Stage 2 draw.

Prize Conditions and Alternatives

• Primary Method: The prize is intended as a credit toward the winner’s home loan repayment. Payment will be made via EFT directly into the winner’s nominated Australian mortgage account.
• Cash Equivalent Clause: In the event that a winner is unable to facilitate a direct mortgage repayment (e.g., due to specific lender restrictions), the Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, pay the prize as a cash equivalent via EFT to the winner’s nominated bank account.

Prize Draw Structure

The draw will be conducted in two stages.

First, five (5) Silver Egg winners will be drawn at random from all valid entries. The Silver Egg winners will then be removed from the entry pool.

Second, one (1) Golden Egg winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries who have submitted a screenshot of the designated Golden Egg, excluding any Silver Egg winners.

If fewer than two (2) entrants have submitted a valid Golden Egg screenshot, the Promoter reserves the right to extend the Promotional Period or modify the Golden Egg draw at its discretion, subject to any applicable state regulations.

Intellectual Property & Social Media

• This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram (Meta).
• Entrants release Instagram from all liability arising in respect of the Promotion.
• Any screenshot submitted must be an original capture of the Promoter’s official Instagram account. Use of “leaked” or third-party images will result in disqualification.
• The Promoter reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to disqualify any entry it reasonably believes is not a genuine original capture, including entries sourced from third parties or digitally altered.

Marketing & Privacy

• Data Collection: The Promoter collects information sent over through DM and publicly available information on Instagram to conduct the Promotion.
• The entrant will receive a message from Home Loan Experts’ official Instagram account confirming their entry into the random draw.
• Upon DM entry, entrants will be offered an optional link to a First Home Buyer Guide or online tool. Downloading or requesting these materials constitutes an ‘opt-in’ enquiry, allowing the Promoter to contact the entrant regarding home loan services. Entry into the contest itself does not require the acceptance of these marketing materials.
• The Promoter collects personal information about entrants to run this Promotion and may disclose entrants’ personal information to its related entities and to third parties, including its contractors and agents, prize suppliers and service providers, to assist in conducting this Promotion.
• For the purposes of public statements and advertisements, the Promoter may only publish the winner’s Instagram account handle, first name and photo of the account.
• The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with these Conditions of Entry.
• The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to validate and check the authenticity of entries and entrants’ details. If a winner cannot provide the proof required by the Promoter to validate their entry, the winner will forfeit the prize in its entirety, and no substitute will be offered.
• Incomplete, indecipherable, inaudible, incorrect and illegible entries, as applicable at the Promoter’s discretion, will be deemed invalid and not eligible to win.
• Entries containing offensive or defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights, are not eligible to win.
• The winner(s) will participate in and cooperate as required with all reasonable marketing and editorial activities relating to the Promotion, including (but not limited to) being recorded, photographed, filmed or interviewed and acknowledge that the Promoter may use any such marketing and editorial material without further reference or compensation to them.

Unclaimed Prizes

• If the prize is not claimed within three (3) months of the draw, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety. The Promoter is not obliged to conduct a redraw or offer a substitute prize.
• If any winner does not claim the prize within a reasonable time, they will forfeit the prize and the Promoter is not obliged to offer a substitute prize.

General Terms

• Verification: The Promoter reserves the right to validate the authenticity of entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process.
• Force Majeure: If the Promotion cannot run as planned due to technical failures, the Promoter may cancel, terminate, or modify the Promotion, subject to state regulations.
• Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter and its employees are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) arising from or in connection with entry into this Promotion or the acceptance or use of any prize.
• Governing Law: This Promotion is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
