What do we look for in an employee?
- Everyone we hire must be fluent in English and have excellent maths and computer skills. We will test you on these basic skills in the interview, so please do not apply if you don’t meet these criteria.
- Brokers must have experience working in the credit department of a major lender.
- Must be organised and have impeccable attention to detail, as mistakes can be costly to our customers.
- Must be a hard worker who can reach monthly targets.

Director’s Assistant Manager
Andrea began working at the Home Loan Experts in late 2011 after graduating from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts.
Initially her role was to provide administrative support to brokers as well as distributing and monitoring our online enquiries.
Andrea studied while she worked and quickly gained her Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking.
As Andrea progressed to a management role, she trained new staff in managing online content and continued to work closely with brokers, support staff, HR and the Director.
She has written several process documents which have streamlined the process of training new staff and are now integral to our operations.
As the Director’s Assistant Manager, Andrea is instrumental in running the business’s day to day operations.
Glaiza de Leon
Human Resources Manager
Glaiza began working at the Home Loan Experts in 2009.
She started her career with us in an administrative position, assisting the brokers and continually training other junior support staff.
In 2011, Glaiza advanced to managing our Human Resources department whilst studying through Accredited Online Training (AOT) and earning her diploma in Human Resource Management.
Now Glaiza manages a growing support team and is an indispensable part of our business.
In her time working for us, Glaiza has stretched herself and reached for more and more challenging goals.
She has implemented several new procedures and documented them in our ever-expanding Operations Manual.
She has not only grown professionally, but she has helped shape the company by designing many of our policies.
Personal Assistant to Senior Broker
Razielle began working here in late 2010 as our receptionist.
In this role Razielle liaised with a range of individuals including the banks, customers and related professionals.
She was the first point of contact for new customers and dealt with a variety of enquiries predominantly over the phone.
After a year of working and studying at the same time, Razielle has gained her Certificate IV in Financial Services (Mortgage Broking).
She has progressed within the company and become the personal assistant to one of our senior brokers, helping to submit over $7 million in loans to various lenders each month and settling over $4 million on average.
Razielle is a high achiever who continues to strive for the best.

You won’t be swallowed up by a corporate machine or feel lost in the crowd. We know that building good relationships with co-workers means that day to day tasks can be completed efficiently. Here at the Home Loan Experts we understand that income is important. Because our brokers are paid on a commission only basis, it is entirely up to them how much they earn – the sky’s the limit. We supply you with leads every day and our clients are always high quality, so continuing business is never a problem. Brokers receive an initial upfront commission and then continue to receive trail for the loans they have settled.
Effectively, you will have as many leads as you can handle. We have around 50 – 100 qualified leads each month for every broker. Our leads come to us through our online stream and we get just as many phone enquiries. Despite this, Home Loan Experts will still guide you on how to build professional relationships to gain your own client and professional referrals.
Brokers have the ability to work their own hours, so it doesn’t matter whether you are a morning person or a night person. We understand that things may pop up during the day and this can’t be avoided. At Home Loan Experts we work around your personal life so you can have the best of both worlds.
We are always updated with the latest industry news and regulations. We are full members of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) as well as the Credit Ombudsman Service Limited, which ensures professional and ethical lending practises. We have also implemented new IT systems and have the latest technology to ensure our employees have all the resources they need to complete their job efficiently.
Our staff are friendly and supportive, so you never feel like you can’t speak to your co-workers for advice. Home Loan Experts has a mentor program, ensuring new mortgage brokers receive guidance from our senior brokers. This means that you always have someone to brainstorm with when finding the right solution for a customer.
