SA Conveyancing

What does a SA conveyancer do?

Conveyancer witnessing a contract of saleA South Australian conveyancer is a registered professional who prepares the necessary legal paperwork required in real estate transactions to change the ownership from the current owner to the new owner. A large majority of conveyancers are members of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers – SA Inc. and regarded as a “Certified Practising Conveyancer” (CPC), to be a CPC they must attend a number of seminars each year to keep their knowledge fresh and up to date.

On top of ensuring that all the necessary paperwork is prepared, executed and lodged, your conveyancer will also liaise with your bank and mortgage broker to ensure the settlement time frame is being met and your settlement takes place on time. We also investigate government searches and check for environmental issues registered against the Title and ensure it is clear from all debts at the time of settlement.

Why choose the recommended conveyancer for SA?

Melissa has been in the conveyancing industry since 2001 and finds it to be a very rewarding job. She enjoys meeting new people and every file is treated individually with care to make her client feel relaxed and at ease that their file is in the best hands. Her passion is to strive to make the settlement as hassle free and as stress free for her clients as possible. The biggest headache you will have is packing!

Situated centrally in Adelaide, she can attend to the settlement on any sale or purchase file in South Australia. As most people work 9 to 5, it can be very difficult to make an appointment to sign the required paperwork. Therefore to make it easier, all documentation is forwarded to the client directly by either post or email, where they can go through it in their own environment and at their own pace. Any queries can then be forwarded to her by either phone or email, where she will respond to the query as quickly as possible.
