No LMI for pharmacist mortgage

Postby GC88 » Wed Jul 15, 2015 10:00 pm

Hi,

I am a fulltime pharmacist who purchased my first home 2 years ago, and have just found out that the lender I used will wave LMI for pharmacists in certain circumstances which my broker didn't inform me of at the time. I am now looking at purchasing a block of land and was wondering if I refinanced my current loan if the LMI could be waived to increase equity in my current property to increase my deposit?
Also does my current property get taken into consideration as an asset or a liability in terms of looking at an investment property?

Hi GC88,

It is unfortunately that your current broker did not inform you that you are eligible for the LMI Waiver for Pharmacist.

However, we can assist you with accessing equity to purchase vacant land and construction while using the LMI waiver.

If you would like to discuss this you can ring us or put an online enquiry and ask for Tony.
