Is 100% waived LMI loan available for a pathologist (medical)?

Postby Noel G » Mon Apr 08, 2019 7:44 pm

Hi, I recently got offered a position as a senior pathologist (medical) at a major hospital in Melbourne. I accepted and moved here from Adelaide. I earn roughly $135,000 a year. My previous property valued at around $750,000 with $560,000 still owing is currently rented out at $37,500 p.a. I’m looking to purchase a residential property somewhere in Keysborough between $700k to 800k while I’m here. Is 100% waived LMI loan possible with a medico loan?

Correct me if I’m wrong. So, as my LVR will be 100% and the LMI is waived, what kind of interest rates am I looking at?

Hi Noel G,

Medical practitioners such as doctors and pathologists are considered very low-risk borrowers as such they get offers which are usually not available to the general public.
You may be eligible to qualify for interest rate discounts on top of a 100% waived LMI home loan.

Our mortgage brokers have special relationships with our panel of lenders which include almost 40 lenders. That’s why we are able to negotiate discounted interest rates which are not published by the banks.

Just an FYI, I’ll also be looking to access features such as offset accounts and redraw facilities. My home loan needs to come packaged with these features. Is that doable or are there limitations?
