Hi Home Loan Experts,
My wife and I would like to apply for a home loan to purchase a three bedroom house worth $334,560 at Cleveland, QLD, 4163.
We have saved approximately $60,000 in our savings account for more than a year. We have a regular saving pattern and always make monthly deposits in the account.
We both work in the same company and it’s been a little over a year. She works as the Front Desk Receptionist and earns $42,000 per year whereas I work as an IT Technician and earn about $49,000 per year.
Can we get a mortgage?
Thanks

Re: Home loan on a heritage listed property?
That is pretty cool, Otto.
My brother was relieved to know that. He had a talk with our parents and they have fully support his reason to save the place.
They had a small concern though, how can they protect themselves in case my brother cannot repay the loan on time?

Re: Home loan on a heritage listed property?
Hey Otto,
Just posting a questing for my brother. He is a history geek (which can be real annoying at times) and when he heard that the one of the local “heritage” buildings is going down.
He went mad crazy!! Says he sees a lot of investment potential in it and is looking for a mortgage right now.
I was going through some of the forum posts regarding heritage listed properties and one of the users said something about a guarantor loan?
I didn't see your answer and wanted to ask whether that was a viable option?
Thanks.
