Re: dentist applying for a house loan
Hi, I am a doctor but I am wondering how much this lmi fee really is like. I mean, would it be better for me to borrow less and get a lower rate or borrow more and try to get the lmi fee waived?

Great, thanks for clearing that up mate. Will give you a ring when I find a suitable place since I haven’t really looked around yet.

Re: What is bad credit? Can you still get a home loan?
Hi again, spoke to the wife and it turns out that it was for $1,500 about 3 years ago, just before we met, actually.
I kinda knew about it but it didn’t seem very important at the time – I hope you don’t have bad news for us!!

Re: Getting a home loan for a studio apartment
Okay, you’ve convinced me that I should buy this. I don’t mind a smaller space, it’s easier to clean up anyway!
I think I would go for a 40 to 50 m sq unit but I’d like to borrow more than 95%. Is there way that I can borrow more than that?

Getting a home loan for a studio apartment
Hi, I am currently employed as brand manager and social media market for a medium-sized furniture company. We sell all sorts of plastic furniture to clients all over Australia.
Right now I am renting an apartment but I am the feeling that the rent is too costly. My landlord has also told me that he will be increasing the rent in a few months which hasn’t helped much. I then started thinking that maybe I should just buy my own place and that a studio apartment would be perfect for me. I spoke to the landlord about this (he’s a decent guy otherwise) and he mentioned that it would be hard to get a home loan and that banks do not lend for such apartments so I wanted to ask you guys what you thought about it.

What is bad credit? Can you still get a home loan?
Hi
I’ve heard that “bad credit” can get you decline for a home loan but no one seems to know exactly what bad credit stands for…!! I’m not stupid and I know that bankruptcy or late payments are bad for your credit but just how much does it affect you? Will you have a chance or none at all?

Re: How can self employed people get a home loan?
Okay maybe I need a low doc loan.. I’ve only been in business for 5 months and I was working in an entirely different kind of job before. I left my job as a school teacher and am working in photography fulltime now. It always a hobby but I decided to take the plunge early this year.
Is a low doc loan more expensive? I might need to borrow more than $600,000 for my loan.

Re: Banks knocked me because I can't prove my income!
Thank god! Finally!
Let me fill you in. I work as a self employed owner of a medium sized supermarket. I’ve been running it for almost 2 years now.
I wanted to get a mortgage to buy a house as a wedding gift for my fiancé priced at $500,000 in Pennant Hills, NSW 2021. I have almost $100,000 to be used as deposit.
Imagine how frustrated I felt when I got declined!

Re: Banks knocked me because I can't prove my income!
Hi guys,
Speaking of lenders, why don’t banks say that this type of method is acceptable for them? I just got a big fat decline from one of the banks!!!!
If bank statements was what they needed, it wouldn’t have been a problem for me. Why did they say NO to me? Now, I’m here feeling frustrated!!!

Re: PAYG constructor. How do I prove my income?!
Hi home loan experts,
I'm not in the construction business but I'm a PAYG earner too. Do you think I could apply for a low doc loan to buy an inner city apartment? I have my own wedding planning business and this will be my first home too.
Any words regarding this would be great.
Thanks
