Re: Do banks lend to people close to retirement?

What exit strategies would lenders accept if you are seeking a home loan and it’s clear you will be in retirement within a 25 or 30-year home loan term?

Do banks lend to people close to retirement?

Hi Home Loan Experts. I’m 51 years old and want to buy a property. I work as a chief security officer at a medical research company in Sydney. I’ve been wondering about taking out a home loan to buy a nice place to settle in after I retire. I want to retire early, if possible and trave. Do all banks...

Re: Home Loan for Part-time Workers

Do banks take tips into account? My tips match my base salary. If they consider extra pay, I would have a better chance at getting approved and borrowing the amount I need, wouldn't I?

Home Loan for Part-time Workers

I am a bartender at a local King Street pub. I’ve been with the establishment, as a part-timer, for a little over three years, working 28 hours a week. My base pay is close to $2000 a month. Do I qualify for the loan? If so, what documents would I need to present to the bank for a loan approval of r...

Re: Working out my home loan repayments

Thanks Otto. That calculator is pretty interesting and I can play around with the numbers quite well. Yeah, I do get what you're saying about borrowing to the limit but I do have a backup plan for any contingencies so I'm confident that that's the way to go for me. I will call up one of your brokers...

Working out my home loan repayments

I've saved up a deposit that I think is enough to get me a good deal and a good interest rate on a home loan, which I'll be taking out as soon as I'm ready to buy. I just want to work out my mortgage repayments and see what difference different amounts make so where can I find a calculator or simila...

Re: Qualifying criteria for a business loan

So all business loans are assessed on a case by case basis? That's logical. I have almost two decades of industry experience and more than 5 years running my firm, which isn't doing bad at all. I'll definitely give you a call to find out what type of deal I can qualify for. Thanks and talk soon.

Qualifying criteria for a business loan

I'm planning on leaving my accountancy job, invest in my finance firm and start working full-time there. I've been planning this for the past few months and now that I'm close to having everything planned out, I want to know what it takes to qualify for a business loan. Is there anyone who can give ...
