Re: Can I get a low doc loan with no business activity statements?
Thanks for the informative reply. I can provide an accountant's letter as well as business bank account statements. I'll call in to discuss the specifics at the earliest. Bye.

Re: Can I get a low doc loan with no business activity statements?
I can ask my accountant to write a letter for me, if it works. Could you just outline me what details should be in a letter?

Can I get a low doc loan with no business activity statements?
Hi Team. I'm self-employed and want to buy a home. Since I am not GST registered, I can't prove my income through BAS and I haven’t lodged my tax returns. What are the other ways to prove my income and get a mortgage?

Re: CBA and Westpac low doc loan products
I have gone through my options and it seems this is the only way to go if I want to buy right now. Which do you think is it better to get a low doc loan from, CBA or Westpac?

CBA and Westpac low doc loan products
Hello, I am thinking of getting a low doc loan to buy a house. I have a savings account in CBA as well as Westpac and I would like to go with either one of them rather than another bank. A friend told me that I would easily get a quick reply here so can anyone tell me what low doc loan products CBA and Westpac have on offer?

Yes, you’ve changed my mind - I’m reconsidering getting my parents to help with my home loan. I’ve not decided on anything right now. Maybe I‘ll call you in a few days to discuss other options that may be available. Thank Otto and have a nice day.

Re: Can I take out a no deposit investment loan?
Hello everyone! I was thinking of taking out a home loan but something came up and I had to use all of my savings to deal with it. Because of that, I’ve got no savings that I can use to take out a mortgage. I was considering going guarantor but I’m not too sure about that.
While looking for alternate options, I read somewhere about the idea of using the money from our super as a deposit. Can this be done?

Thanks for answering in such detail. I’ve got one more question though. Are there any things that I should look out for around the time of settlement?

What should I do after getting a pre-approval?
Hello home loan experts,
I just got a pre-approval but it was such a hassle because I went through the loan application process all by myself. I had no idea what I was doing most of the time.
Now that I’ve got a pre-approval, I want to properly learn about the steps after pre-approval before jumping haphazardly into it again.
A friend of mine recommended this forum to me and said that this is really useful. Can anyone here help me out with my situation?

Re: Are these rumours about home loans true?
Thanks a lot for taking the time to reply man. Now I’m clear on many aspects of the home loan but I’ve got to learn a bit more before actually starting the loan application process.
I’ll go through your website to get more info and will give you a call once I’m ready to go ahead with the purchase. Thanks again!

Re: Are these rumours about home loans true?
Thanks for the credit card advice man. I do have two at the moment but I don’t need both of them. I’ll get rid of one asap.
I’ve also heard that I need to pay some kind of insurance to cover the loan. I’m confused whether it protects me or the lender. A little help to clear this up?

Are these rumours about home loans true?
Hello there,
I’ve been thinking about purchasing my first home for a few weeks now. I’ve been talking with my friends about getting a home loan for the purchase.
The problem is that I’ve been hearing a few rumours about home loans like, hiring a mortgage broker is too expensive or that lots of assets can make up for having a low income, or that lenders won’t lend to you if you don’t have a deposit.
