Sounds good. I sent my friend those links and told him about you guys. I myself checked out a few of your pages and blog posts - they’re quite helpful and informative. You’ve convinced me that you guys know what you’re doing so I’ll be sure to contact your office soon. I’m sure my friend will as well :)

Re: How much can a business owner borrow on a mortgage?

Yeah, thanks :)

Here’s another query for you: a friend of mine (who’s also a small business owner like myself) wants to buy a house near where I’m planning on buying. Unlike me though, he says he can’t provide his tax returns. Can he still take out a home loan with features like mine?

How much can a business owner borrow on a mortgage?

Hi there,

I’m a small business owner currently living in a leased house here in Adelaide. I’m considering buying a home for myself in the suburbs as business has been good for a while now. I understand that because I’m not a regular PAYG employee, it may be a bit difficult for me to take out a home loan.

What I want to know is how much I may be able to borrow seeing as I’m, you know, self employed and all. I’d also appreciate it if anyone could explain how my income may be analysed. Thanks in advance.

Re: Do some banks still offer 95% investment loan?

Thank you so much! Negative gearing is a really interesting concept. I’d like to learn more about it. I’m also glad that there still are lenders that give out 95% home loans. I’ll definitely give you a call by next week to further discuss my situation.

Hey! Thanks for the info but I’ve got no idea what negative gearing is. Can you please elaborate on that?

Re: Can I get a no doc commercial loan?

Hey there, good morning to everyone!

I’m about to finish my architecture degree and I want to immediately start my own firm after I graduate. I was going through this thread and I learnt a lot about no doc commercial loans.

I have one question though. I’ve heard that no doc commercial loans are significantly costlier than normal home loans. Is it true?

Do some banks still offer 95% investment loan?

Hi home loan experts,

I started working as an assistant manager in a supermarket about a year ago. I currently earn $40,000 per annum and I’ve been promised a raise at the end of the this year. I’d like to buy an investment property because I’ve always wanted to get into property investing and I think I’ll be able to afford the mortgage repayments now.

The problem is that I may not be able to provide a big deposit as of yet. One of my friends borrowed at 95% a few years back but it seems that his bank doesn’t lend at 95% anymore.

Is there any other banks that still offer 95% investment loan?
