Re: How do banks assess self-employed income?

Hi guys, I'm also technically self-employed. You see, I work on a contract basis so I'm assuming that banks will assess me as self-employed because of the inconsistency that comes with my job status. Am I right in assuming this?

Re: How do I qualify for a co-ownership investment loan?

Hey there,

I’m also planning to take out a co-ownership investment loan to purchase a property with my brother. I learnt a lot about this loan from the posts here.

Can anyone help me as well and explain to me how the loan is set up?

Re: Which of my savings can be considered genuine?

I understand it now why lenders seem so uptight about genuine savings. Thanks for the info, Otto! I’ll give you a call to discuss my situation in detail within a few days.

Re: Which of my savings can be considered genuine?

Hello there, I work as a personal secretary for a director at a sales company in Melbourne. I have an annual salary of $52,000. I live in an apartment that I bought five years back and I’m thinking about buying a new house. My friends told me that the banks are really strict regarding genuine saving...

Re: Can I get a no doc commercial loan?

Yes, it falls under unspecialised properties because I basically need an office type of space where I can set up my business. It’s located centrally in Perth.

I’ve heard that lenders ask for several documents before approving a loan application. What documents would I exactly need?

Hi home loan experts, I graduated last December and I’ve been planning to establish a business of my own. I’ve always wanted to do that. I need a property to start off my venture. I’ve even found a suitable property a few minutes away from my home. A few friends suggested that I can get a no doc com...
