Re: Should I invest in an overseas property?
Hi everyone!
This has been informative to me to say the least. However I am not sure about how exchange rate may harm me. Could someone explain more about that?

What are the documents required to do my taxes?
Hello there,
I recently purchased an investment property. I know that I have to pay the taxes. However, I have no idea what documents I would require. Could anyone guide me in this matter?

Hi everyone,
There was something mentioned about fixed and variable rate. Could someone tell me how it will affect the interest I will pay on my home loan?

Re: What is my credit score?
Thank you. The calculator asked me about credit enquiries. I have applied for a new credit card and a personal loan within the past six months. How will it affect my credit score?

What is my credit score?
Hi home loan experts!
I am a school teacher from Sydney. My annual salary is $54,000. I have been thinking about buying a house for some time now, and would like to borrow as much as possible for the purchase. When I looked around for information, I found out that my credit score has a significant impact on the amount that I will be able to borrow.
However, I have no inkling of what credit score is. Is there some way that I can estimate my credit score?

Hi. While going through this thread, I was intrigued by a “favourable purchase.” Will I be able to get a favourable purchase from someone other than my parents? I also want to know how much I can borrow.

Hi everyone, I want to take out a low doc home loan but I can only provide my bank statements right now. Can anyone tell me if I can still be able to get a low doc loan without providing anything else?

Re: Using my current house to get a home loan
I’ll definitely have a talk with my financial adviser on this matter. I’ll make a decision on whether to choose a line of credit facility based on his advice. In any case, I’ll need a home equity loan and I’ll be giving you a call within a week or so. Cheers, mate!

Re: Using my current house to get a home loan
Hi there experts,
I’m thinking about getting a home equity loan like kenryu here. However, my colleagues warned me that the banks offer a line of credit, and charge higher interest for it. Can you please explain to me what a line of credit is and if it has any benefits?
