Re: Can a part time employee take out a home loan?

The reply is very informative! Thank you. I have a deposit from my previous job but I’m not sure if I have enough to apply for the loan. I’ll call you to discuss my situation when I apply for the loan.

Re: Can a part time employee take out a home loan?

Hey everyone,

I’m from Peterborough. I have a new job starting next week. I really want to buy a house soon and am looking to apply for the loan in the next couple of months. Will banks approve of my application considering I have a new job?

Re: How much can a contract worker borrow for a house?

Hello everyone! I am a contractor and I work in mines as a heavy vehicle operator. However, my contracts are short term (3 or 6 months). My average yearly income is about $110,000. I want to buy a home and was thinking of the price range of $450,000 - $500,000. Could someone tell me what documents w...

Re: Is there any way to avoid LMI?

Thank you Otto for the detailed response to my query. As I need to borrow more, the option of borrowing 105% without paying any Lenders Mortgage Insurance seems very appealing to me. So could you tell me something more about this guarantor loan?

Re: Can you list out some typical DUA criteria?

Hi there, I have been planning on taking out a home loan to buy a house in Delaware. I know that I can afford the loan, and I was searching for a bank with a DUA. Now that I think about it, I’m in no such hurry to get a home loan. Instead, I think I’ll apply with a regular bank without a DUA. Can yo...

Re: Do I risk losing my home while providing a family guaran

Well, since the loan becomes my liability then there is indeed a possibility of my losing the house if my daughter fails to make the repayments. I am not really ready for other commitments since it has not been long since I paid off my mortgage. I think having a limited liability will help my daught...

Re: What types of properties have guaranteed rental returns?

Hi, I took out a home loan and bought a DHA property a while ago. I’ve been thinking about taking out a second mortgage to use it for home improvements. Can anyone tell me when a second mortgage may be more suitable? Can you also mention the amount I can borrow?

Re: How much can an adult industry worker borrow?

Hi, I'm also involved in the adult industry. I've already applied for a home loan. As requested by the bank, I provided them two consecutive payslips. But now, the bank wants a statutory declaration. I’ve read and checked up on how to make a statutory declaration but I’m pretty sure I’ll make a few ...
