Re: Changes in lending policies for investment loans

I understand why my friend speaks so highly of you guys. You guys are so quick to answer, and your answers are in so much detail. I need to buy the investment property regardless of these policy changes. I’ll need your help in finding the best solution so I’ll give you a call tomorrow afternoon.

Changes in lending policies for investment loans

Hello there,

I’d applied for an investment loan with one of the major banks a few weeks back. However, they blatantly rejected my application even though I was sure I’d met all of their requirements for the loan.

They tried to avoid giving a reason at first but after I insisted, I was told that it was because of some change in the policy. The guy at the bank said he was busy and couldn’t waste time explaining.

I’ve turned to this forum because a friend spoke very highly of it and said that I’d definitely find some answers here. Can anyone please clear me up on these policy changes for investment loans?

Re: Do banks consider income from second job for a home loan

I can provide my payslips and tax returns as well. I guess the important thing is to choose the right lender like you have mentioned. I am going to contact you so that you can help me choose a suitable lender for me. Thanks!

Re: Do banks consider income from second job for a home loan

Hi everyone,

I am working part time in a hotel in Perth as a corporate trainer. I work 20 hours a week, and have a yearly income of $30,000. Could someone tell me what evidence of income do I need to provide for a home loan?

Hello everybody!

I’ve been considering getting a professional package and I want to know the benefits that are covered by the single annual fee. Is there anyone who can clearly explain this to me?

Thank you for the information. However, I am not sure what an offset account is, and how it will help me save money.

What are the features of Australian mortgage?

Hello everyone,

I am from India and I have been working in Australia for the past three years. I have an annual salary of $72,000 as an environmental engineer.

I have been renting an apartment located at Coventry Street, Southbank and there is a place for sale at Southbank Boulevard that I want to buy. However, since I have never taken out a mortgage in Australia before, I am not sure what it is like to get a mortgage here.

I would be extremely grateful if someone could tell me the basic facts about the mortgage industry in Australia such as how much I may be able to borrow.

Re: Will the bank accept the income from my previous job?

Hey Otto, I am also self-employed and I am planning to buy a small one-bedroom flat in Sydney. Could you tell me what documents I would need to provide to the bank in order for them to verify my income and approve my loan?

Re: Can an international student get a home loan in Australi

I am studying graphic designing on a full scholarship funded by my university. I have signed a part-time employment contract with a firm and I currently earn $24,132 per annum through my job.

Will not I be able to show this income while getting a home loan? How much will banks be willing to lend to me if I want to buy an apartment, either on my own or with help from my parents in India?

Can an international student get a home loan in Australia?

Hello Home Loan Experts,

I am currently on a student visa (Subclass 573 – Higher Education) in Australia. I have been looking to buy an apartment in Brisbane, and have found one that really suits my needs. It is priced at $360,000. Since I do not have enough savings, I will need to take out a loan for the apartment.

Can an international student get a home loan in Australia? Is there anything specific that I need to be aware of while buying a home?

Re: Home loan for self-employed possible?

Well, I did use to work in a company that sold home décor products. I also think the other criteria matches up. Hopefully I will have my loan approved. I will ring you up in a few days to know if this is possible.
