Re: What are bank bill loans?
Hello there,
I live in Launceston and was looking to apply for a commercial loan. I want to weigh my options before deciding what kind of commercial loan I should apply for. Could anyone in this forum please tell me about the various interest rates charged for commercial loans?

Re: Why should I get a guarantor loan?
Hi everyone,
I took out a guarantor loan for the house I purchased two years back. My parents were the guarantors and since I am now in a strong financial position, I want to have the guarantee from my parents removed. I do not want to keep the extra liability on the back of their minds. So, how can I remove the guarantee on my home loan?

Re: How to get a loan to buy a land for farming purpose?
The property I have selected is about 50 ha and it’s not going to be used for commercial purpose. So great to know that I have a chance of borrowing 95% . Thanks for your help. Bye!

Hello! Like mynameisSAM, I too am planning on having my own hobby farm. The land I have selected is valued at $400,000. How much will I be able to borrow from the bank to complete the purchase?

Re: Concerning additional repayments without break fees
Hi all,
It’s been a long month of planning but I’m finally going through with the move to Dampier. I want to buy a small house there by taking out a fixed rate home loan in order to finance the purchase. Can anyone tell me how I can get a reliable estimate of my exit fees?
A friend of mine told me that some banks don’t have break fees. Is this for real?

Home loan provisions for permanent residents
Hi home loan experts,
My application for permanent residency has recently been approved. I want to buy a house, but I am not sure about the process of applying for a home loan. Could you tell me about the basic things that I should know before applying for a home loan?

Re: How do I fill in the FHOG application form properly?
Oh, I see. My deposit was actually composed of my tax refunds and FHOG. I have shares that I’ve held for more than six months so I think I should use them instead. Thanks for all you help, Otto

Re: How do I fill in the FHOG application form properly?
Hi home loan forum!
I’m also a first home buyer and I recently tried to take out a home loan with a bank. I did have a deposit but the bank told me that the savings needed to be genuine. How can savings be “genuine”?

Still not sure if I can apply for this loan. I think it’s best if I speak to you directly about my situation. I will call your office in the next two days.

Re: What are the ways to improve a credit score?
Hey guys, I am also about to apply for a home loan and I tried out the credit score calculator on your website. It showed that I had a low credit score. Actually I had missed a couple of payments on my credit card a few years ago. Not sure how long this record will stay on my file for but is there any way I can still get a loan even with a bad credit score?
