Re: How much can a foreigner borrow for a mortgage?
Hi everyone!
I am an Indonesian and I was thinking of investing in an overseas property. One of my suggested that I invest in Australia, and he directed me to this forum. However, I am not aware of a single thing about the Australian property market. i would be grateful for ANY info about investing in an Australian property.

Re: What are the tax implications when inheriting a property
Hey, Otto. Thanks for such an informative reply
I’ll talk to my family and get their views on the matter. I’ll give you a call if I have any more issues on the matter or if I decide to go forward with the mortgage.

Re: What are the tax implications when inheriting a property
Hey, I am sharing the inheritance with two of my siblings. I want to keep the property but they want to sell it. Is there a way for me to get full ownership of the property?

What are the tax implications when inheriting a property?
Hey everyone,
My grandfather passed away recently and as per his will I am inheriting part of his property. I thought it would be easy but I learned that there would be some taxes implicated on the inheritance. Can anyone give me an idea about these tax implications?

Re: Tell me something about a mine subsidence home loan
Oh, so that’s why! I want to borrow at least 90% of the property value but I’m not sure if we have that many people in our town. I want to understand more, which is why I’ll be calling you by the end of the day. Talk to you soon.

Re: Tell me something about a mine subsidence home loan
Hello everyone!
I also wanted to take out a mine subsidence home loan but I’ve been told that I could face much hardship because of the location of my property. I’m not sure whether what it is true or not. Can anyone tell me why I may have difficulty taking out a mortgage because of the location of my property?

Hi Otto,
You have said that investors may be limited to borrowing 90% of LVR in the future. Can I borrow more as of now?

Hi Otto,
Thank you for the information. It would of course be better if I am able to borrow more at a reduced interest rate! Could you tell me how it would be possible with forecasts and interim financials?

How to get a commercial loan without much proof of income?
Hi everyone,
I am a professional trainer and I travel all over Australia for my job. I want to set up a new office and there is this property in Sydney that would be suitable for me. Due to the nature of my job, I do not have all the evidence of my income, which is roughly $80,000 per annum.
However, I am worried that I may miss out on the property if I spend time arranging the required documents. Is there any way that I can get a loan in this situation? Could anyone tell me how much may I be able to borrow?

Re: Will banks lend to an agency worker?
Hi all,
I’m an agency worker and I want to take out a 90% LVR home loan. I understand that agency workers may have a tough time getting approved for such a loan. How do you think the banks will approve my loan application?

That’s great! I didn’t realise just how much a DUA could help speed up the loan approval process. I checked out your website and it’s simply marvelous. Thanks for everything. Have a good day.
