Hi everyone,

I was at Stuart Zadel hosted Think and Grow Rich seminar this past weekend and I would love to get in touch with other participants to go over the systems of property investment so I can make the best educated choice!

I seriously need to sign up for one of the programs but need the help of others who've signed up for these tremendously helpful programs to guide me as I make the best choice for myself!

I'm only working with limited funds but I will be starting a blog about my journey so hopefully if I can make a profit with the system I choose it will be a positive testament to the mentor I choose to go with!

I would also like to say I had a great time at the seminar! I thought it was really well organized, terrific presentation, entertaining, though provoking and emotional! I really got alot out of it in terms of ideas and ways to go about investing for my future. I highly recommend the seminar if you come across it :)

Hi graceface,
I am an independant finance broker and have been working with Positive Real Estate clients for over two years now and have attended many of their events.
What I can say about Positive Real Estate is that they are strongly focussed on educating their clients to successfully invest in property in many different ways. Whilst they provide a Buyers Agency service to source good property deals for their clients, they also encourage them to go out and find their own if that is what they want to do (and still mentor them through the process)
From a broker's perspective, it is not uncommon for me to be structuring and writing multiple loans for the same clients each year as they grow their portfolios. This alone is proof for me that what PRE do for their clients actually does work.
Their information nights are free to attend and you are also offered a guest attendance to one of their mentoring nights to see how they educate their clients and this will also give you an opportunity to talk to their clients personally to get some feedback on the relationship.
All in all, there's no pressure and it gives you a chance to "try before you buy"

If you are looking for advice, then here it is:
Attend a few events run by different companies and you will quickly see the value in what PRE has to offer.....no contest!

Hi GeorgeN,

I've seen youtube presentations and seen Jason Whitton, the founder of Positive Real Estate in a seminar.

It seems they live, eat, breathe property and their expertise in choosing positive cashflow property is without a doubt GOLD! They also send regular newsleteers about property in certain locations that's on the market and is expected to generate income.

Now, the only problem I have with buyers agents is they are flipping the property they buy!! I mean sure I can understand that this is what they do for a living! They have to profit from the property they've bought in bulk for cheap prices to their network of property investors. It's all fine and good as long as the property investors they sell their property can benefit and make a profit as well.

I would like to be in the inner circle, that is getting the wholesale prices on the property so I can increase my profits. But don't see this as a possibility and must subject myself to some fleecing if I want to make money in property. Fair enough I guess.

GeorgeN, are you a mortgage broker? Do you also work with Home Loan Experts? I bought a home from these guys and loved the service and was amazed at how quickly everything went through. Now I'm thinking about paying off my mortgage and using the equity for property investing.

I know many people are reluctant about using mortgage brokers because they think the brokers charge them for their services. This is a HUGE misconception! Brokers get wholesale prices! This means they get rates that are way lower than what the general public sees. This is because they bring bulk business to banks and lenders. They can negotiate deals that a person acting alone could not! Yes, they get a commission but satill this makes the loan no more expensive than bank's regular rates and you get the know-how!

There's no price tag on experience that can avoid all the pitfalls and save you TIME and MONEY and also save you from screwing up your credit scoring!

So I highly recommend home loan experts and I will see about attending some Positive real estate seminars! Is there one coming up soon?

Thanks everyone!

E
