Hi CJ Pk,

On probation home loans are available although there are some banks that would rather prefer that you complete probation and have at least 6 months' track record in your current job.

If you're a professional with a stable employment or study record in the same industry or line of work as their current job are eligible for a home loan and even if you may have just started your job or already have one or two months in your job, as long as your situation “makes sense”, we can usually find a mortgage lender for you.

Note that if you go self employed or are a low doc borrower and you've just started a new business then it will be difficult.

Our mortgage brokers are credit experts who understand that employees on probation won’t be perceived favourably by some lenders. We work closely with lenders that can consider your mortgage application even if you have been in your job for just one day.

Call us on 1300 889 743 or complete our free online assessment form for a full assessment of your situation.

Cheers,
Otto
